I have been taking the pill for over 2 years now, only have I had one time where my period was this late. I’m on the 6th day of my placebo pills and still no period. I have taken all of my pills accordingling, even though there was one day that I forgot to take it but took it the next day right in the morning when I remembered, and a couple times where I took my pill hours later than I was supposed to. I am on a combination pill. I took a test yesterday which came out negative. I need some advice on where I should be taking my thoughts and if I should even be worried? I have never not had a period, I’ve always had some form of bleeding. I have no pregnancy symptoms. Please help me ease my thoughts! I am very stressed and have been practically these entire past two months.

Hello, Anon! Thank you for posting.

It is not unusual for women who are taking birth control pills to have very light periods or no bleeding at all. If you have not missed any pills, skip 1 period, yet have no other signs of early pregnancy, it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. Your pregnancy test is also negative. If you still have doubts, you can wait another week or two and test again just to ease your mind.
