Have you had plastic surgery? Or a less invasive treatment? Were you happy with the results? And would you do it again?

Here's a great article about when beauty goes too far:

The article examines how women are having fewer major plastic surgery procedures performed but are opting for less invasive treatments instead.

One of this morning's news programs had a story on a website where women can post their photos and personal stories about why they want to have breast augmentation, viewers can donate to a fund for the women they want to help, then the recipient can use the funds once they reach the amount needed for the procedure (around $5000). One woman reportedly "raised" over $1Mil.

The site was created by two guys after a trip to Las Vegas, and it operates like microlending for breast implants. The appeal is that the women get the surgery paid for with other people's money.

I've never been pleased with my body. I was always too thin; now, I'm too plump. Had I ever considered plastic surgery? Sure. Would I do it? Not unless there was a compelling reason, like surgical repair. I would never have implants just to please some guy. Girls need to learn how to be happy with themselves so that they can grow up to be confident women without all the superficiality.

Have you ever seen the movie, "Millenium?"
