Dr punctured right lung, spent two days in hospital because of severe (inflammation) pain, upon trying to remove tubing, the end of tube hooked onto a rib causing severe pain. Removal had to be done in ICU under sedation....tube then removed and I was sent home. Second evening that I was home I developed a 100.4 degree fever (normal temp is about 96.7....otherwise other than some discomfort, I feel ok....should I be concerned?

Hello Anon
Thank you for writing.
I am so sorry this happened to you; it sounds incredibly painful.
Your fever was low grade (low grade is 100.4 or less) so not too troubling - and since you are feeling better now, you should be on the mend. Keep an eye on your fever and if it spikes, call your doctor.
