Pain in upper right back

Hurts from center of back around to front breathing deep makes it worse constant pain

Upper and middle back pain may be caused by overuse, muscle strain, or injury to the muscles, ligaments, and discs that support your spine, among other things. These are the most common causes of pain that area.  A person can also experience pain in this area from an illness, chest infection or other infection or more rarely gallbladder.  If this pain is constant and worsening, see a doctor for an evaluation. Especially if you cannot recall hurting your back in the ways mentioned above.
