Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Constipation can cause your pain and straining.

There are many reasons for constipation. A poor diet of processed foods can cause it as can too much dairy and too little fiber. Stress, lack of exercise and travel are also reasons.

Certain medications can cause constipation.

Do any of these seem like they could be a cause? Are you taking anything to help move your bowels?
Best,
Susan
