Hi so I recently got the depo shot June 5th on the 5th day of my period. June 26th I had sex with spermicide condoms, and when he was about to cum my boyfriend pulled out with the spermicide condoms on and came in the condom. It’s been more than a month and since I’m on depo shot, I don’t have periods but I do have spotting. I’ve become afraid of getting pregnant. Could I be pregnant?

Also my boobs are tender, and I’m spotting, is there a chance I could be pregnant? Or Is it the depo shot?

Hello, again.
Side effects (of the Depo shot) similar to the symptoms of an early pregnancy occur in many women after the first few injections, but then usually go away. Some women notice spotting, acne, sore breasts, nausea, fatigue, and abdominal discomfort.
Based on your information, pregnancy is unlikely, but no one over the internet can tell if a person is pregnant. Only a pregnancy test can tell you that.

Hello, Emmieyk. Thank you for posting.
The first injection of Dep-Provera is usually given within the first five days of starting your period in order for it to be immediately effective for birth control. So you are protected, even with full intercourse (ejaculation within). As long as you get your future shots on time, there is no need to use a backup method of birth control. Some women feel better doing this even so and that's fine too.
If you are still nervous, a pregnancy test can ease your mind.
