I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst on both of my ovaries in September 2016. A 5cm on the right and a 3cm in the right one. I've always had irregular and heavy periods. But I missed one in December 2016. I am not sexually active. I was wondering if the cysts could have caused me to miss my period. I have some thick, yelowish discharge that somtimes turns dark brown and has an odor. It's normal for me to bleed some between periods. Is it normal for ovarian cysts to cause a missed period and this awful discharge?
