Ovarian Cyst or Pregnancy

I have been having pain in my lower left side of my stomach for the past 3 days, and am bloated. My stomach hurts to press on at my side and it hurts to move in general.
The pain goes away when I pee, but then comes back - I have to pee again to make the pain go away.

I'm on birth control (4 periods a year) and my bf either wears a condom or pulls out.

Before going to the dr I took tests:
Pregnancy test - Negitive (29 days after sex, morning urine)

STD test - Negitive
UTI test - Positive

Got to drs, did urine test, can back negitive for UTI.

Dr drew blood, going to get CBC and CMP results on Wednesday (7/4/18).

What do you think it is Ovarian Cyst or Pregnancy?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing!

If your tests are negative then it's highly unlikely you are pregnant.

As to a cyst - this may be possible. You need a scan to know more. Your issue may not be related to your reproductive system. Since emptying your bladder helps ease the pain temporarily, your urinary system should also be checked.

The dr kept implying that I was pregnant - why would she think that?
I'm on birth control (4 periods a year - for endometriosis). My last period was the first week of May, my next period is at the end of july/begini ng of August. I took the home pregnancy test with morning urine - 29 days after sex. I did 3 more tests this morning - all negitive.

Should I wait awhile then do more pregnancy tests to prove the dr wrong?
Thank you so much.

Hi again!

If your doctor truly thinks you are pregnant (it's not a case of proving her wrong) then you should be offered a blood test or a scan.
Again, since all your tests are showing negative, it's unlikely you are. But some women don't show up pregnant until a few weeks into the pregnancy. This is quite unusual though.

She should be concerned about your pain, however. Tell her you'd like a scan to rule out pregnancy and see what may be going on with this pain you're having.
Best,
Susan
