Is nuristerate injection 99% protective against pregnancy if you took a shot 4 or 5 days after menstruation then have unprotected sex at the 10th day after a shot.

Hello Ledi1

Thank you for writing.

You took the medication at the correct time. Many reports advise waiting 7-10 before unprotected in intercourse. Call your doctor for advice - you should have been given information about this kind of birth control so read the instructions carefully.
Best,
Susan
