Hello Doctor, my fiancée have always used postpill to prevent pregnancy whenever we have intercourse. But ever since the last time she used a pill she hasn't seen her period. She has gone for scan and the scan result said she wasn't pregnant. Please what could be wrong with her monthly flow?

Hello ola31

We are not doctors on this site.

Your girlfriend should not be using "post pills" (emergency birth control) after each intercourse. This is not what it's for, it's for emergencies. Constant use can cause discomfort, breast pain, vomiting or an absence of periods (or too much bleeding). She likely hasn't gotten her period due to taking this medication. Use a condom during intercourse, or suggest your girlfriend goes on the regular birth control pill. What she is currently doing is not good for her.
Best,
Susan
