Hello Anonymous,

Before I address your question, I must say that I am concerned that you had a period in late April which lasted three weeks. That means your period stopped a few days ago.

Something has off-set your normal menstrual cycle. If you have been having vaginal bleeding for three weeks, you cannot be pregnant.

Feeling tired and light headed may be linked to anemia, which is a condition in which the body does not have enough healthy red blood cells. Blood loss from a heavy or prolonged menstrual period can lead to anemia.

Give your physician a call and report your prolonged period and symptoms. Your physician may ask you to come into his office, order a blood test or recommend a daily multivitamin with iron.

It has been a week and a half since I have been off of my period. My question is, is it possible to be pregnant even if I had a period? We had unprotected sex two days before and now I am having slight cramps and am irritable. I have anxiety problem and am also treated for it, but even if I take my medication, for the last few days, it has been going ballistic. The shaking is worse, I almost cry talking to people and I can not focus. I am just tired all the time even if I have the perfect amount of sleep. I normally get scared around my period that I could be pregnant(Comes with the anxiety issues), but its not close to my period. I am mostly scared because I went to an amusement park the other day. What is going on? Could that kill the baby if I am with child?

Hello Anonymous,
Is your physician aware of the lesion on your breast?

Did your physician recommend a treatment for the yeast infection?

A metallic taste in the mouth can be caused by infections of the mouth or teeth, skin conditions that affect the mucous membranes in the mouth such as lichen planus, or other problems, such as Crohn's disease.

Medicines that are chewed, rather than swallowed, may cause a temporary metallic taste in the back of the tongue. Certain antibiotics, such as tetracycline, Flagyl and penicillin, can cause a metallic taste because they get into the mouth through salivary secretions or directly from the blood.

The surest way to confirm if you are pregnant is to have a blood pregnancy test.

I hope this is of some help,

Maryann
