I am on birth control so I don't believe that pregnancy could be the reason but I feel just like I did when I was pregnant with my 3 kids. I messed up on my birth control last month but then I got my period so wasn't concerned but not too long after that I started having these symptoms. I have never had these symptoms before this early in my cycle. So just a little confused.

My fiance and I had been trying to have a baby around april but all test came negative and I got my period. On May 14(1st day of period..by this time we stopped trying) we had unprotected sex and he cummed inside me had a period for 4 days and then I thougt it was over but I started spotting for 3 days in a row. When it finally stopped I started farting a lot(i know embarrassing) and now May 27 I started having horrible cramps and I don't know what going on can someone help me?

Anon,

How long is your normal period? Is it usually 4 days long or closer to 7?

Has anything changed about your diet or medicines that you are taking?

Do the cramps feel like period cramps? Or more like a bad stomachache?

Right now, I don't any of your symptoms seem tied to your trying to conceive. Having unprotectd sex on the first day of your period should be fine as long as it doesn't cause you any discomfort. With a period starting on May 14, May 27 is actually close to when you should be ovulating. Do you ever have pain around the time you should be ovulating?

Anon,

So glad you got your period on time. The stress of waiting for it and wondering can be very hard to deal with. Great news!!

Anon,

Yes, you're perfectly normal. Every woman's cycle is different. Some are short, others are long; some are light, others are heavy. If this is the way it has always been for you, then you don't have to worry. The only time you need to worry is if something big changes about your cycle. In the meantime, just enjoy having a regular and light period! It's something many women would love to have!
