My period isn't due for two weeks but my uterus is sore and I'm having cramps off and on could I be pregnant or maybe ovulating?

Well My husband and I are trying really hard to have another baby. I am 41 yrs old and my health is good, i do have to watch my cholesterol. We have had unprotected sex for a couple of weeks now and I have felt those similar symptoms and just today i went to the bathroom to check myself and I am bleeding as if i started my period and the last time my cycle started was on October 8th. According to the ovulation calendar, i am not due for another cycle until Nov 5 and its the second. I don't know why this is happening! I didnt go through this with our first child and when I had him I was 36. I know our body changes as we get older, but if i am able to have a cycle on a regularly. My husband and I did consult with my gyneacologist (hope i spelled that correctly):-) He did run some test and everything was fine. Just a little dissappointed because I really can't explain whats happening!!

Hi, I was on YAZ for two years, I stopped taking at the end of July 11, I had my first period on the 14/08 and finished on the ended on the 22/08 but I had days where I didn’t get any bleeding at all and then start all again, the seconde period by 12/09 and finished on the 19/09, and my third period started on 08/10 and finished on the 16/10, as you can see its all different, recently I been getting lower abdomen been, and am not sure if it because am expecting my period with a week??? We are trying to have a baby, so I don’t know when to start trying specially that my period is so un regaler and heavy??

Hello I was reading some of everyone questions and comments and thought to ask a question as well. My situation is that I had my menstrual cycle Oct. 17-21. My boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex back in September during intercourse my nuvaring came out I didn't notice till after and I placed it back in. I'm having some pregnancy symptoms like tender breasts and slight cramping also when leaning stomach against counter or wearing a belt makes my stomach hurt I am also sleepy a lot more often and can sleep all day if allowed to. My cycle isn't due for another 2 weeks and I have been having symptom these symptoms for a few weeks now. Please leave me your comments not sure if I should take a pregnancy test or wait till November for a period to start. I have been off of birth control since September do you think I could be pregnant.

I'm 22 years old and don't weigh 100 pounds soaking wet (I am not anorexic, I have been to more than one dietician about the issue, though they both told me my chance of getting pregnant, even without contraception, is probably incredibly low. I apparently don't have the mass to sustain life.) Regardless, I still had my period, though irregular, and started on the pill as soon as I became sexually active. I don't know what my ovulation cycle is like, seeing how irregular I was before I started the pill. My issue is that I had condom-less sex on Friday (he ejaculated but didn't pull out) and am due to start either today or tomorrow. I took my pill late twice this month, once was half an hour, the other was two hours, and these two incidents were about a week apart. I've been feeling mild cramps and sore in my general stomach/abdomen area for a little over a day but have yet to see any kind of blood, which is odd because I haven't suffered from pre-menstrual cramps since I started on the pill, it's been about 5 years or so. (I take Tri-Cyclen)
I don't think I'm pregnant, but I was wondering if someone could help clear this up for me? It's kind of odd.

hey i have an odd kind off question as im not due on my perion iv only just came off a week ago but im still getting realy bad period pains but the doctor just tells me to take pain killers could u help please x

I really don't know why your period only lasted 3 days. hCG (pregnancy hormone) levels can first be detected by a blood test about 11 days after conception and about 12 - 14 days after conception by a urine test. In general the hCG levels will double every 72 hours. The level will reach its peak in the first 8 - 11 weeks of pregnancy. Wait until October 23 and test again.

first of all i am not on any birth control and well oct. the 8th 2011 i started my period and it and me and my fiance had sex on the 9th and my period quit on the 10th i took a last week and it showed up negative and haven't got up the urge to take another. could i be pregnant and it be too early or what? i dont recall ever having a period thats lasted so short...help if you have anymore questions just ask and ill answer..thanks

Not every woman experiencing implantation bleeding. Only about a third of pregnant women experience implantation bleeding. Light cramping may be a premenstrual symptoms. You will not know if you are pregnant or not until after October 7. If you get your period, you are not pregnant. If your period is late, wait one week and take a home pregnancy test.
