My period is irregular and not coming out properly

I'm 23 . My period is usually irregular and late but last month it started on 21 as slight bleeding then to occasional spotting. It continued for a week and there was one day where I bled like how I normally bleed in periods. After that it was again spotting for a few days with clots. About 10days ago it stopped. And day before yesterday it started again. It's very light . And when I wipe the tissue down there it's all stained with blood . Why is not flowing normally into my pad? And it feels like it's only trickling down. I have no major pain just a very slight discomfort. Any idea what could cause this?

If you are concerned about irregularity, see your GYN. You may have a hormonal imbalance. As for flow, sometimes the flow can change, a period may be lighter or heavier on occasion. It's usually nothing to be concerned about if otherwise you are having a period and feel well.
