My brother has a aneurysm in his brain

The Surgeon said it is 7 mm and very difficult to fix because if all the veins but there will be two Drs working on him,he is 76 and fairly good health.What do you think about his outcome.

Thank you for writing and we are sorry to hear of your brother's health troubles - I am sure this is not easy on the whole family.

Unfortunately we are not in position to tell you if surgery will work for your brother. His age makes things a bit more risky - older age in any kind of surgery is a disadvantage. But since his general health is quite good, this will be a benefit.

Make sure his doctors advise him of all the pros and cons of this surgery. Ultimately this decision is his to make. His aftercare will be very important also.
