Q:

My 21 yr old daughter had laproscopic surgery in late January. When should her period come?

Prior to her late January surgery, her last period was in December, and she never got one in January. I thought she'd be feeling better but she still isn't feeling as well as we thought. Is this normal for some?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.
You didn't say what her surgery was for but if she's still not feeling well she needs to see a doctor connected to whatever condition she has/had - or her surgeon.
As to periods, surgery can certainly change the cycle - for up to three months in some cases.
Best,
Susan
