Missed period, no sex

I have had sex but not in any recent time, it has been months. However, I was expecting my period usually at the very end of a month before or the very beginning of the new month and now we are at the third week which it still has not came. I feel like sometimes I will be starting soon with my usual symptoms but I still don't. Should I go to the doctor?

It is not necessary to go to doctor if you miss one period. It may be due to stress or change of environment. Sometimes even when you change your job, periods are going to be affected. So, do some meditation and keep an eye on what you eat. Eat healthy and drink lot of water. If it doesn't become regular in the next 2 months, consult a doctor.

Hi Anon,

Has your diet changed recently? If your caloric intake has decreased, that could be a possible cause, in addition to stress and hormone imbalance.

Making an appointment to see your doctor is a good idea. The sooner you do that, the sooner you can minimize your worry.

Be well,
