hello, im experiencing some difficult phases through my life, im having a very difficult time keeping my body in shape.. im not a fat body type persay, im size 5 and medium in shirts, i use to fit in small and sizes 1 and 3 but i cant do that anymore... and well yeah it reallly does stress me outt that my friends are all sizes lower than me.. and well noone likes to admit whether their anorexic or bulemic, and according to myself im not , but sometimes i feel guilty when i eat too much or have anything i know im not supposed to be having ... so i go and make myself vomit... or when i feel very full i do the same... i dont do it very often its like maybe once or twice in a month ... so i would say tthats not the same as someone who really has bulemia right ???

Hi Bashful - If you're making yourself vomit, no matter how often you are doing it, you have an eating disorder.

I think this article has some helpful ways to look at what you're struggling with, which affects many women. https://www.empowher.com/eating-disorders/content/making-peace-food-your-body?page=0,0

You said you're going through some difficult phases. Do you have anyone who can help you sort through the various issues you are going through right now? Perhaps a counselor, a spiritual advisor, a close friend, a family member, a medical professional?

Vomiting is a pretty extreme response, and may be a symptom of more serious problems that are affecting your health and well-being. I hope you will reach out and find a trusted person that can help you. Let us know if you need help, and good luck to you.
Take care,
Pat
