I have no medical insurance, not working and I desperately need help with medical/mental health issues where can I go in the Oakland county, Michigan area.
I can't find a job and I am living in my car. I have called everywhere for help and never get anywhere. This has been going on for three years. Is there anybody or anything real to get help?????

Hi Peggy,
I am sorry to hear that you are in a desperate cycle of no employment, no insurance and medical as well as mental issues that need to be addressed.
I am not personally familiar with resources in your area of Oakland County, Michigan, but I have done some searching for you on the internet.
Because you have given me limited information about your medical and mental health issues, and that is fine, I will give you some general resources to check out.
Oakland County has a General Clinic-here is the link
http://www.oakgov.com/health/program_service/clinic_about.html
It lists 3 location sites and clinic hours.
The Salvation Army offers Housing and Homeless Services- here is the link

The Department of Social Services for Michigan offers assistance programs in health services- here is the link

I hope that this information is helpful and a starting point for you to get the help you need and get back on your feet.
