Q:

Menstrual Headaches?

I have typically been very lucky with my periods, but always get bad cramps first day and second evening. Lately, however, I've noticed that I am getting extremely frequent bad headaches. I've never had a migraine before, but it doesnt feel that bad, although it can be quite painful I can work through it...just. I've noticed that it starts two days before my period, and will last until my period has finished (so about 7-8days of headaches!!!!!) the headache is located in both temples, across my forehead, and I feel pain in my eyes, but predominately sharp pain in left eye, left temple area. My question is, is this period related? Or is there more likely an allergy or food intolerance cause? I've had scans done on my brain and nothing seems abnormal (Tumour, aneurysm etc). I am 22 years old. Thank you in advance!!
