So I accidentally scratched a tiny pimple on my labia majora while I was washing down there and pus started coming from it so I squeezed it all out and placed a tissue paper on top of it until the pus stopped coming out. A week later, I realised that the same area I squeezed got an even bigger lump and now I’m scared cos I don’t know what to do. I’m 20 years old and the lump is painless. It feels like a small and hard ball underneath the skin when you squeeze it. What do I do and how do I get rid of it?!

Hello, Jane123!
Thank you for your message. Your vulva has a number of glands, including oil glands, Bartholin's glands, and Skene's glands. A cyst can form if these glands become clogged. The size of cysts varies, but most feel like small, hard lumps. Cysts aren't usually painful unless they become infected. This might be a cyst, we cannot know. Don't squeeze it. Keep the area clean. See your GYN for an examination. They can tell you exactly what it is and also drain or remove it in the office.
