low bleeding (brownish blood) during 1 to 5th day of my period then heavy flow on 6th nd 7th day. Is this normal?

I had an abortion done in april 2015, then I got married to the same person who I had my first pregnancy with. since then my cycles have changed. I get my period on time every month its just my bleeding patterns have changed.I got my ultrasound done, no problems were detected. I consulted doctors , they all told me its hormonal imbalance. Its just I want this problem to get diagnosed as my bleeding is about 10 day long(light bleeding throughout ,heavy bleeding 2 days thats 6th and 7th day).
