Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
In general the treatment for hydronephrosis is determined by whatever is causing the blockage in the kidney. Only your doctor will be able to determine that. In severe cases, the urine may need to be drained from the bladder or kidney. Sometimes there is an infection that requires antibiotics.

I highly suggest you keep pushing your doctor for the proper testing and treatment.
