left leg swelling

I have been having left leg swelling and if something bumps my leg are even touching to hard causes instant brusing. I do have Rhuematoid arthritis. what is wrong with me?

Do you recall any injury to that leg? How long have you had this swelling? These are questions your doctor will likely ask. We cannot know if this is related to the RA. It might be. Another cause might be retention of fluid in leg tissues, known as peripheral edema. It can be caused by a problem with the circulatory system, the lymphatic system or the kidneys. Your doctor can tell you more.
