I heard recently on Chelsey Lately, one of my guilty pleasures, that the best way to stay on a diet and not jump ship after a week, is not to tell anyone that you are going on a diet. I suppose there is some truth to not creating outside expectations. What do you think?

I can agree with this notion. I remember when I wanted to stop smoking, I did not tell too many people for one main reason....if I failed, I did not want to hear someone say, "I told you so".
