Are pregnancy tests accurate 18 days after sex if they show negative? And does getting a normal 5 day period on the 20th day mean you are certainly not pregnant?
I ask because it is always regular like 27-28 but came on day 31. I had normal cramps and was filling pads completely with normal red discharge.

Hello, again Rach79.
Pregnancy tests are accurate 14-21 days after sex. Periods can occasionally be early or late, even for women who consider themselves regular. Many things can impact the menstrual cycle not related to pregnancy, (stress, a change in body chemistry, illness, etc) Having a regular period, early or late is still a period and not an indication you would be pregnant.
best,
Helena
