Thank you for your question, anonymous. Is there sexual desire after menopause? The answer depends on the individual. Research shows that women that think that it is normal to lose sexual desire with age – did! Others, there was no change.

There are things that you can do while in menopause to help. You can have testosterone prescribed to help with your sexual desire but there could be consequences to taking it including cancer. You should certainly contact your physician to weigh your options and your health risks.

Have you spoke to your physician?
