Hello, Ano! Thank you for posting.

Below are some tips to help ease dental pain until you are able to see your dentist in person.

Taking over the counter painkillers such as Advil, Motrin, or Aleve will help with pain. Applying a little oil of cloves on the tooth or a topical pain medication like Ambesol will give temporary relief.

Apply a cold compress, a cold rag soaked in ice water, or a soft gel ice-pack wrapped in a dishcloth.

In addition to brushing and flossing the area, a soothing saltwater rinse can help calm inflammation as well as sanitize the area. Pour a teaspoon of table salt into a cup of warm water and rinse for 60 seconds. Do this a few times a day.
