Q:

I'm 21 and I noticed today that my right nimple has a dent in it. I'm not breastfeeding. Is something wrong?

Hi Anonymous,
Thanks for your question. It always is good to note changes in your breast skin and nipples. If you are concerned, contact your doctor to get checked out. You also can keep an eye on the area to make note of signs of infection. Do you recall injuring the area, or could it be from sleeping on it? If the "dent" persists, hurts, looks red or seems hot, get it checked out.
Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
