Hi Mariah,
From what you have shared, you must be under the care of a physician, who made the diagnosis of a cyst on your right ovary.
Did your physician tell you and your parents what type of cyst you have?
There are different types of ovarian cysts. Some do not cause symptoms, while other types can cause pain in the abdomen, pelvic pain or pain during your period.
If you have a cyst, you may be told to wait and have a second exam in 1 to 3 months. Your doctor will check to see if the cyst has changed in size. When your physician told you that the cyst was leaking, what were you told to expect?
If you have any of the following symptoms, you should call your doctor and get to the emergency room right away:
Pain with fever and vomiting
Sudden, severe abdominal pain
Faintness, dizziness, or weakness
Rapid breathing
