very bad kidney infection and then became ill a few weeks after this water infection happened and suffered from a mild infection during this time of illness what i was hoping to found out from you is if it is due to smoking that i am still suffering from this promblem and if i contiue to smoke i will havw this problem for the rest of my life as i been told by GP that it is a smoker disease and need to give up for recovery from this illness thank you hope you will be able to help me on this subject jeannette

Hi Jeannette,
Follow your doctor's recommendation that you should quit smoking. Your GP knows your complete medical history, which I do not.
