Hi, I have question to ask which is something I’m wondering and it’s making me worried. I had mammogram done and I was told I have a asymmetry and it says there “is no mass, no calcifications no other malignancy identified”. What I don’t understand is since I don’t have any of these then what is asymmetry they telling me I have? I would like to know what other things there are when they say you don’t have any of these things but you have a asymmetry? I want to know what other things it can be? If so scared like this. Please let me know soon.

Breast asymmetry refers to when one breast is a different size or shape than the other. A mammogram or breast cancer screening may show asymmetrical breast size or density. There are a number of reasons why a woman's breasts can change in size or volume, including trauma, puberty, and hormonal changes. Another cause for asymmetrical breasts is a condition called juvenile hypertrophy of the breast. Though rare, this can cause one breast to grow significantly larger than the other.
