It is not secreting any fluid. It's just a bump that can be felt. It's not itchy, but it's a bit painful when touched. I have had it come before and go on it's own, changing positions each time. What could it be?

Hi Soni,
Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.
A bump or pimple on your vaginal area can be a number of things like:
Most which are not contagious, not life threatening or STDs. Don't squeeze the pimple/bump because something like a sweat gland can be infected and you don't want to spread infection.
Try treating the area with a warm compress and/or a warm sitz bath. If that doesn't work you most likely will need the assistance of your doctor to drain and treat.
There are those cases where it is something more serious. So if the warm sitz bath or warm compress doesn't resolve it and more symptoms arise, things don't get better or they start getting worse, please seek professional medical attention.
You should also use precaution if you want to have sex. Abstinence while you determine what is going on is the best solution. If that isn't possible, then a condom is the next best thing.
I hope this helps.
Be well,
~Gillette
