Hello. Thank you for posting.

Since your fingers come into contact with many different things during the day, it would seem likely that the itching stems from some irritant that your skin has come into contact with. It is odd that it's only one finger, however. If it doesn’t go away, (or spreads to your hand and/or other fingers) it’s likely due to an underlying condition that affects your skin or nerves.
