I had a Colonoscopy it was fine so later on I has a X- Ray done it turned out fine I’m always hurting I take Linzess but I got off because of the symptoms I go through. I feel a little better now I drink lemon water every morning and take a tablespoon of olive oil on a empty stomach. Do you have any advice?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

IBS-C is a very difficult condition to live in and can cause a lot of stress. Stress, in turn, can cause a flare so it's often a catch-22 situation.

My advice to you is to visit the website of a very reputable health professional Kate Scarlata - who specializes in digestive diseases. She has a tremendous amount of information and diet/nutrition plans for all sorts of digestive issues including IBS.

You can start here (cut and paste): http://www.katescarlata.com/
