I currently have fibroids (quarter size and nickle size maybe 4 or 5 total.I had a uterine Ablation a year ago for the bleeding it's working just fine and the fibroids have not grown or changed in size at all. What can I do about the ovarian pain? I am scheduled for hysterectomy in two weeks which I am thinking of cancelling

Anon - Why is your doctor recommending a complete hysterectomy if the issue is confined to one ovary? I would certainly consider getting a second opinion from another gynecologist. Most insurance companies will cover this, and even if they don't, it is in your best interests to explore all of your options before having any type of surgical procedure. Let us know what you decide to do. We wish you all the best.
