It's been like 2 years know it comes every 2 months but 3 weeks ago a started a new exercise program and about a week ago I started bleeding and thought it was my period but it was not very heavy and then after exercise the other day I started bleeding more and now it been more than a week and it's still the same. I have been to the doctor and got some blood test and need to go next week for ultrasound but I am worried that maybe I have ruptured cysts or something and need medical attention now the bleeding is not to heavy but constant. Help.

Hi, Anon.

Thank you for your post.

You did the right thing going to the doctor. You need to find out what is causing your irregularity and bleeding; an ultrasound will help provide those answers. Transvaginal pelvic ultrasound is used to check for any abnormalities in the pelvic area. After a pelvic exam, a transvaginal ultrasound is often the next step in diagnosing a vaginal bleeding problem. I understand your worry over this but try not to imagine the worst and wait to see what the results are.
