Since then I have constant crams and pain I walk sometimes in the middle of the night because I am unable to fal asleep due to pain and severe crams/ the doctor said I have to deal with this myself, I had have cronic constipation before the surgery, but I always was regular in the morning and help with a gloved finger.. Now I sit in hot water often and help with my finger. It still leaves me unclear why the pain persist with the crams. I think the perforation may block the regular passage of the poo because it just sits there , does not want to came out be itself....Even after taking laxative the agony does not go away and the effect of the laxative apsets my system. I want to get out of the situation Gabriella

Hello Gabriella,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you reached out to us with your problem.

I respect that your physician knows what was done during the surgery, is a physician and knows your medical condition.

But, I am concerned about the chronic constipation and potential problems to your intestines as a result.

Would you consider getting a second opinion?
