Passive aggressizve behavior is so hard to fight. I end up being the perpetual scape goat for addicts who transfer their mistakes on to me. I don't want to be a victim anymore.

Hi Anon,
Can you just get transferred to a different department or to total different store. Where you won't have this problem with your mom?
Best,
Daisy

Hi Anon,
Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to us for support. Sorry to hear, how you feel. It's definitely not a good feeling to know your mother is saying these things to others about you. You need to help her seek help from a psychotherapist. It's important to talk to her and maybe help her understand what she is dealing with. Passive Aggressive behavior is sometimes treated with antidepressants and or group counseling. Have you told her how this is affecting you?
I've included some resources for you on this condition
Passive-Aggressive Personality Disorder

Thanks for your response. I have confronted my mom several times and she deflects or lies. My problem at work (in a deli) is that whenever I try to work with coworkers the managers will redirect to keep me isolated. This pattern has been going on for months. I do great with customers and enjoy interacting with them. I have been lonely for a long time.
