Hi Pooh,

I started answering your same question in another post. We ask that you keep any follow up questions on the same post in order to answer all of our users new questions promptly.

PCOS is a condition where there is an imbalance of the woman's sex hormones. Symptom includes: Irregular menstrual periods, which may be more or less frequent, and may range from very light to very heavy. If you would like to verify that the spotting you've been having is from PCOS and nothing else, please schedule a visit with your doctor.

Hope this helps,

Rosa

Pooh,

Any spotting that you would have in pregnancy would be implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is spotting that can be seen only once or can last about a day or two at most. This will occur one week before your regular period is due. However, if you want to be sure that you are not pregnant you can take a home pregnancy test to ease your mind.

Implantation bleeding would be the very first sign of pregnancy, followed by a missed period and sore/tender breasts 1-2 weeks later.

Best Wishes!
