I had carpal tunnel surgery almost 3 weeks ago and I am now getting pains in the inside part of my wrist along with swelling. Is this normal for this to be happening?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

If this pain and swelling has occurred three weeks after surgery, then this needs to be reported. Swelling is common immediately post-surgery but to start after three weeks is not. Seek advice. In the meantime, elevate the wrist and ice may help with the swelling.
Best,
Susan
