Shaved pubic area is a massive turn on. Not that we should get ALL our lessons from porn...but porn is what it is...and shaved.

Agree with jowil ;) I & my partner love how smooth and soft I am... Waxing lasts for me about 4 weeks, have everything off ;) and do underarms too.
Conditioner yes, shave cream no! Have you thought of having your fiancé help you? Or having them go to waxing with you. I know there's to schools on that... Keep the mystery... don't involve them or the more they know and participate in the closer you will become.
Congrats and best of experiences with you hair removal!

I would recommend waxing, you will be clean and smooth for about 3 weeks. Shaving would have to be done daily or every other day to keep up the smooth result. Hair grows back in a stubble/prickly texture when shaved, however, waxing regrowth is soft new hair.

Good Morning,

I am a BIG fan of waxing and there are a number of things you can do to prepare yourself for a pleasant waxing experience. Since you have never waxed before you may want to start out with a bikini (bikini line waxed) instead of a Brazilian (every thing waxed). It's helpful to make sure that your hair isn't super long but trimmed to about a quarter of an inch so the wax will grip nicely.

Depending on where you go, they may be able to put some numbing cream your skin, all places will put some lotion to soothe the area. You can also take a couple aspirin prior to going if you are sensitive to pain. It's well worth it afterwards I promise you, your soon to be husband will love it :)

I would make sure you research a handful of places before just going anywhere. A good wax will cost around $50, and don't be shy about telling them what you want. If they wax and you want them to take off more, just let them know.

Keep in mind the more you wax, the thinner your pubic hair will become, and the easier it will be to wax more in the future. I have been waxing for years, and have found it helpful in the warmer months, and it was great to keep up with things while I was pregnant as well.

I hope this was helpful. Happy waxing if that is the route you choose to go :)

Best,
Sondra

Hi Anonymous,

If you have sensitive skin, the manufacturers of shaving cream products make one specifically for sensitive skin. However, you may want to consider that the pubic area is very sensitive even for those who do not have sensitive skin and you might consider other options such as trimming the area as opposed to shaving it completely.

This is your choice, just giving you an alternative.

Good Luck,

Rosa
