Q:

I am four days late. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. I took the morning after pill and I was wandering when I should start my period?

I heard taking the morning after pill you most likely will get your period. I want to know when I should how soon have other ppl got there’s. I have notice within the month that my nipples are darker and my lower abdomen like right on the tip of vigina is sticking out alittle bit and is a little bit hard.

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing!

The good news is that you are not pregnant. The not so great news is that it's not possible to know when your period will come since the surge of hormones from emergency birth control can cause bleeding or delayed bleeding. It should be along between now and the next few weeks.
A change in the cycle following emergency contraception is a common side effect. You should return to normal the second month.
Best,
Susan
