Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

We cannot interpret lab tests for our readers as labs differ in how they conduct tests and the results can vary. In general, an alpha protein test is usually taken to test for certain cancers (liver, brain, reproductive tumors...) or other conditions. A level under 10 is normal so your test may indicate there are no malignancies. A much higher level can indicate malignancies or other conditions. Please ask your doctor what your level means for you.
Best,
Susan
