I am 39 with severe scoliosis the pain in unbearable...I do not take pain meds. I have a 4 month old I can barely carry in his car seat...im at my wits end...always in excruciating pain...I have no idea what to do. I wore a brace as a child. What can I do

 Hello. Thank you for posting.

For the benefit of our readers - Scoliosis is an abnormal curve in the spine. There are several types of scoliosis based on the cause and age when the curve develops.   In some cases, scoliosis is not painful, but there are certain types of scoliosis that can cause back pain, rib pain, neck pain, muscle spasms, and abdominal pain.  I think you should consider seeing a doctor.  Wearing a brace (again) and pain medication may be needed so you can function.
