I've noticed that TV binge-watching has become the norm, especially among my age group. My friends often talk about their weekends spent in front of their TV watching episode after episode of their favorite shows. Although I don't consider myself a binge-watcher, I do enjoy watching two or three episodes of "Friends" every once in a while.
How do you know if you are indeed a binge-watcher? And how do you find a healthy balance?

Hello daniluna,
This is the first time I have heard of TV binge-watching. Maybe because of my age. So, I did some internet searching.
The term "binge-watch" can be traced back to the late 1990s. It was used among television fans who would watch several episodes of a particular show in a row using DVD sets.
In a survey conducted by Netflix in February 2014, 73% of people define binge-watching as “watching between 2-6 episodes of the same TV show in one sitting.”
Here is something to ponder: People who reported greater feelings of depression and loneliness were more likely to binge watch than people who reported being happy.
