Hi Anon - Thanks for writing. I'm sorry to hear about your mom, you must be very worried right now. It's really not possible for us to tell you how much time your mom may have before moving from Stage 4 to Stage 5, or kidney failure. This is dependent on a number of factors including her age. The following article will help you with more information, and your mom's doctor should also be able to help you.
