How did you diversify your diet during pregnancy?

I try to follow a healthy diet since the first month of pregnancy and my nutrition is full of vegetables, fruits, grain cereals etc. But since a 4th month, I faced up with constipation during pregnancy and nothing helps. I don't want to take medicines. Maybe some natural products may help? What helped you?

Hello Rose Blake

Thank you for writing and congratulations on your pregnancy!

Pregnancy can cause constipation so it's good you are eating whole grains, fruit and vegetables.

A glass of prune juice will also help. You can take fiber supplements also - these are natural products that can great help to increase your fiber and help against constipation. Drink lots of water!

Since summer is on it's way, check out our article on great summer foods that are high in fiber (copy and paste) :
