how can I treat familial tremor

I have had familial tremor since I was 14. I am 60 now. The only medication that helps me is diazapam. Propananol has never worked but I take it anyway. Alcohol works also but leads to addition. I have never tried primadone. Taking diazapam before speaking or times when I know I will be stressed helps the most. I am curious about tremadon.
