I have been having really bad vertigo lately. It just hits me sometimes and lasts for a couple days. It makes me just want to lay down and not leave the house. Are there any at home remedies to ease symptoms?

Hello, Anon!

Thank you for posting.

I suffered from vertigo for years, so I understand how you feel.

For the benefit of our readers, vertigo is a sensation of spinning and dizziness that can greatly limit a person's activities and make them feel sick. There are medications to treat vertigo, but there are also natural treatments that can help.

1.The Epley maneuver (recommended by chiropractors or physical therapists as a way of treating vertigo at home).
2. Ginkgo biloba.
3. Ginger tea (this helped me with nausea).
4. Almonds.
5. Apple cider vinegar and honey.
6. Staying hydrated.
7. Essential oils.
8. Acupressure (applies the same concepts as acupuncture, but no needles).

Details on the above remedies can be found below. Copy/paste the link.

I hope you feel better soon.
